23.6.2019 — Most of the international contemporary dance festival KoresponDance will take place at the Castle in Žďár nad Sázavou, but the opening event will be in Prague. On the 25th of June, dancers will entertain the audience with three performances at the historical building of Invalidovna in Prague. One of the highlights of the evening will be a solo performance by James Batchelor, one of Australia's most amazing dance artists.

17.6.2020 — On the 19th of June, the 'RESET: zpátky na scénu' ('RESET: Back on Stage') multimedia show will bring an unprecedented combination of stage elements and special effects to the darkened Křižík's Pavilion B at Prague Exhibition Grounds (Výstaviště Praha). After a long break, the Pyroterra art group will bring the pavilion to life with their spectacular show!

15.5.2019 — From the 17th to the 23rd of May 2019, Losers Cirque Company's Open Air Festival is taking place at Vyšehrad. Over the course of seven evenings, audiences will enjoy a varied programme prepared especially for this festival. In addition to the Losers' new circus, festival goers can look forward to great musicians and a beatboxer.

23.4.2020 — The Art Parking project will be launched in two locations in Prague on Friday the 24th of April. Art Parking is a multi-genre festival that aims to offer dozens of theatre performances, concerts, and film screenings from now until the end of June.

The 17th annual Letní Letná festival will take place from the 18th to the 25th of August in Letenské sady in Prague. Unfortunately, the programme will not be the same, but it is still well worth a visit!

10.8.2020 — The 7th annual barrel-organ music festival, 'Flašinet žije', will take place in the historic heart of Prague on the 11th of August. Street artists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia will bring music and energy to three venues in the city centre. The barrel-organ music festival will commence at 10am with a concert in the church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town square. The beautiful baroque church will witness a barrel-organ performance of popular classical music pieces.

Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. The festival will take place in Invalidovna in Karlín in Prague on the 27th and 28th of September, while Thursday the 27th of September is reserved for schools.

5.5.2009 — Studie Elektronická správa ve světových městech (Digital Governance in Municipalities Worldwide) hodnotí kvalitu elektronické správy ve velkých městech po celém světě. Toto hodnocení, které od roku 2003 proběhlo už potřetí, posuzuje webové stránky měst z pohledu elektronické správy a sestavuje z nich celosvětový žebříček. Zjednodušeně řečeno v sobě elektronická správa zahrnuje jak elektronické vládnutí (poskytování veřejných služeb), tak elektronickou demokracii (spoluúčast občanů na vládnutí).

23.12.2018 — It is traditionally celebrated at midnight on Christmas Eve, in various locations in the Capital. 'Czech Christmas Mass', also known as Hej mistře! ('Hey Master!'), popularly called Rybovka, and in Latin Missa solemnis Festis Nativitatis D. J. Ch. acomodata in linguam bohemicam musicam, abriviated to Missa pastoralis bohemika, is a Czech religious composition written by Jakub Jan Ryba. It is the first written liturgical composition in Czech. Rybovka is a pastoral play set in Czechia that narrates the story of the Annunciation of Christ's birth and the arrival of shepherds to the manger in the stable. It was composed in 1796 and hand-written copies quickly spread throughout the Kingdom of Bohemia. The original score has not been preserved, and the versions that are played today are compiled based on critical analyses of the hand-written copies.
