Signal Festival illuminates Prague

Prague celebrates St. Patrick's Feast Day in style

16.3.2019 — Prague is preparing for greater St. Patrick's Day celebrations than ever before. The main attraction will be the festive parade on Sunday the 17th of March, which begins and ends in Campus Hybernská, where the other main celebrations will be held. According to the legend, Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, converted the people of Ireland to Christianity in the fifth century.

Australian and New Zealand film festival in Prague

31.10.2019 — The 6th annual Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest introduces lesser-known cinematography from Australia and New Zealand to audiences in Prague. Aussie is an English slang term for Australians, and Kiwi is slang for New Zealanders. The festival takes place from the 1st to the 6th of November in Lucerna, Atlas and Ponrepo cinemas.

Nativity scenes from Třešť in Jindřišská Tower

9.1.2019 — The third floor of the Jindřišská Tower is now dedicated to an exhibition of original nativity scenes hand-carved by craftsmen from Třešť, which has become known as the town of nativity scenes.
